Collective support: a format with multiple benefits

Depending on what you need: strengthening skills, removing an organisational barrier, deepening a concept, or gaining insights from peers’ experiences, collective support offers a format with many benefits.

This is exactly what we have been offering at Scalechanger for over ten years. In addition to one-on-one support, we provide collective formats tailored to a wide range of groups.

To date, we have designed and run over 150 workshops for more than 3 000 individuals and organisations!

Our collective formats are aimed at a broad variety of actors:

  • Associations, cooperatives, mission-driven businesses, NGOs, foundations, funders, or structures supporting entrepreneurship (support for leaders and/or their teams).
  • Organisations that have won support programme grants and wish to equip and support project leaders.
  • Public sector actors, local authorities, or institutional networks, supporting local or national initiatives.
  • Students.

Explore our different collective formats

  • Collective Support (in-person or virtual workshops): This collective support brings together various organisations (through entrepreneurial programmes, incubators, or others) and enables them to build skills on topics related to scaling their impact.
  • Trainer, Facilitator or Professional Training: These training sessions help incubator/accelerator members or professionals supporting impact projects (foundations, funders, etc.) to better assess, understand, and support the scaling of the organisations they assist.
  • Student and Executive Training: Programmes or training modules on topics related to entrepreneurship and scaling.
  • Team Seminars: A unifying format that brings members of the same organisation together to advance on a key organisational issue (strategic plan, revamping the association’s project, etc.).
  • Co-development Sessions: Sessions that leverage collective intelligence by bringing together several entrepreneurs facing similar challenges, enabling them to draw on their peers’ experiences to overcome obstacles.
  • Mentoring Programme: Setting up, managing, and overseeing mentoring schemes as part of support programmes.

“A huge thank you to all the witnesses and organisers. The workshop on different scaling strategies was very enriching and will feed into our internal discussions.”

Our expertise is recognised and certified by Qualiopi, a French certification, which guarantees the quality of the training actions we deliver. As such, our training sessions are eligible for dedicated funding schemes.

Our areas of expertise

We cover all aspects that structure an impact-driven organisation: scaling strategy, structuring and strengthening the business model, governance, strategic planning, leadership and HR challenges, internationalisation, preparing for fundraising, social and inclusive entrepreneurship, theory of change, impact measurement, and much more.

What are the benefits of a collective format by ScaleChanger?

The ScaleChanger team members are expert trainers in pedagogical design and the subjects they facilitate. Our formats are innovative, always tailored to the context of the participants and the organisations, and include tools and resources for the practical application of learning. By engaging in a collective format facilitated by ScaleChanger, participants:

  • Discover new concepts or solutions to deliver their solution in the most effective and impactful way.
  • Strengthen their skills and gain a clearer understanding of the topic at hand.
  • Professionalise their practices and can immediately and practically apply the learnings once back in their organisation.
  • Leave feeling enriched, supported, and energised through peer-to-peer sharing.
  • Have the opportunity to step back, confront different viewpoints and experiences, and draw inspiration from other models or practices.

Expand their network by building connections with other participants.

“I really appreciated the participatory and inclusive format of the workshop. We need more workshops like this for us, the supporters of entrepreneurs!”
Participant, Entrepreneurship Support Organisation in Côte d’Ivoire.

“The feedback from the teams has been very positive. This workshop on our strategic plan was extremely useful – we really needed to ask these crucial questions, and it was a great opportunity to do so together to reflect, anticipate, and be strategic rather than reactive.”
Matthieu De Bénazé, Director of Acting for Life (international NGO that has been active since 1973, focusing on sustainable development and poverty reduction in West Africa and Latin America, targeting rural and vulnerable populations).
